Backwards Compatibility

We guarantee backwards compatibility for blueprint functions and interfaces. Aside from this, implementations may change, especially as new features are added. If we make any code changes, the affected functions and variables will be marked as deprecated; they will be supported for at least 2 major versions afterwards (e.g., 1.1.0 to 1.3.0).
